Winter Festival of Light

On December 20 the darkest day of this year, a program is sponsored by the Central Park Conservancy called as Winter Festival of Light. Listen to stories of the award-winning storyteller Regina Ress, she will be telling stories about many beautiful mid-winter holidays.

Winter Festival of Lights is a wonderful program, to celebrate the light in the darkness. The Winter Solstice, Christmas and the New Year all are celebrated with charming stories and dazzling light which will give you a beautiful feel.

The program would be held at the Dana Discovery Center from 4.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. on Saturday in Central park located between 59th and 110th St. Winter Festival of Lights will end with a candle-lit procession in which we invite the light to return and a new beginning for the coming New Year.
