The holiday season has arrived and it’s a perfect time to shop. In the month of December you will find the return of the holiday market at Columbus Circle. The market will be open from Wednesday, December 3 to Wednesday, December 24. The timing will be from Monday- Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
More than 100 vendors will be selling a dizzying variety of wares, antique prints, fine art, and toys for kids of all ages. You will also find many varieties of imported and handmade holiday ornaments and decorations. For your appetite you will get gourmet foods, drinks, baked foods.
Many types of handcrafted jewelry and leather, golf accessories, candles, bath oils, cashmere, French linens, pet accessories, and clothing and apparel for all ages will be available at the Columbus Circle Holiday Market.
The market is operated by Urban Space Management, located at Columbus Circle, Central Park (59th Street and 8th Avenue). The market has free entry.
More than 817 acres of the park was burned in a devastating fire, destroying the bird sanctuary. The park was repaired and restored with some areas still closed for public.
Millennium Park has a Cycle Center which is a heated and air conditioned indoor bicycle parking facility built by the city of Chicago and now sponsored by McDonald's hence now named as McDonald's Cycle Center.
The Botanical Building is one of the largest wood lath structures in the world. It has many tropical plants and exotic seasonal flowers in this lovely space. A Lily pond is situated to the south of this building.
